September Harvest Report – An exceptional nectarine harvest.

FRUIT FRESH FROM THE ORCHARD

Nectarines have reached their peak ripeness and are now being harvested in Visalia, California. This region is an area known for stone fruit production and this harvest has been full of exceptional, high quality fruit. Weve selected two nectarine varieties, September Bright and Autumn Fire, both known for excellent flavor and juiciness. Each morning it's picked and the fruit is delivered to a packing facility where the nectarines are washed and cooled for several hours. This allows the fruit to be firm when it is prepared for delivery. Once the gift boxes have been packed, address labels are attached and the fruit is sent directly to the customer. Stone fruit, including nectarines, are maturing early this year.
