The Spooky Sketches Behind Our Halloween Gifts

At Harry & David, we pride ourselves on being intimately involved in product creation every step of the way. We carefully monitor our famous Royal Riviera® Pears during their cultivation process and inspect each batch of Moose Munch® Gourmet Popcorn to ensure that it’s just right because that oversight and familiarity with our products are what set our gourmet treats ahead of the pack.

We apply that same mentality to our package design, and our team of top-notch designers and graphic artists push themselves to outdo what they have done in the past.

This year, our assortment of Halloween gifts includes two styles of artwork. The Little Monsters line came to be long before the first pumpkin appeared in anyone’s garden. Our designers and graphic artists brainstormed and drew up imaginative sketches of playfully frightening critters and monsters. These energetic characters proved so popular that we worked these sketches into the packaging for several of our Halloween candy gifts, including our Trick-or-Treat Tote Gifts. The Little Monsters even appear in the design of some our Halloween treats. For instance, our Halloween Cake Pops, Halloween cookies and other Halloween Trick or Treat favors come in a variety of spooky shapes inspired by the artwork our designers created. They’re sure to please both kids and those who are kids at heart.

Our other style of art features gift boxes resembling creaky, mysterious spell books. Lift the cover of any one of these tomes to discover a delightful assortment of Halloween sweets. Our Halloween Books of Spells Gift Tower is actually made of three of these exclusively designed boxes. For those who enjoy an extra eerie touch, one of our gifts even comes in a coffin-shaped box.
