Do you feel that? It's the change in season, when summer Fridays turn into fall Fridays. We know they're not a real thing, but we wish they were so we can leave the office early and head out to see some foliage and drink some hot apple cider. While some mourn the loss of sunny days and fresh summer fruit (I can still taste those juicy peaches), we’re going to celebrate autumn with a fall charcuterie board that’s inspired by the colors of the season and paired with a glass (or two) of wine.
The orange and yellow colored leaves are reflected in the dried apricots and orange slices as well as the fresh persimmons on this board. While purple grapes create a beautiful contrast across the spread.

The main component to any charcuterie board is, well, the charcuterie. Two kinds of salami are optimal. Go with any salami from a mildly spiced Casalingo or an earthy flavored Olli Salumeria.
For the non-meat eaters, add a bowl of dolmas (stuffed grape leaves) or roasted red and yellow peppers to continue the fall color theme. Tuck green olives and crackers into any empty spaces so your fall charcuterie board becomes a veritable cornucopia of tasty snacks.
No charcuterie board would be complete without cheese. My two picks are California Crafted Dry Jack and the rustic Tennessee Whiskey cheese because the buttery dry Jack and smoky flavor of the Tennessee Whiskey pair great with the rest of the board – it’s always good to give guests options when it comes to cheese.
